Jackson County TRS is divided by three separate sites. The prime site is located on Wade Road in Vancleave, the second site

Is located at the Jackson County EOC across from the County Courthouse in Pascagoula, and the third site is located just in

Ocean Springs at the intersection of Hwy 90 and Hwy 57 behind Fountain Bleu VFD. This TRS is a Type II with both APCO25

Digital and Analog traffic. The only digital talk groups belong to the Sherriff’s office. Everyone else is analog. Every volunteer

Fire department, all county services like Roads, Bridges, and Public Works are on there as well. Pascagoula PD/FD, Moss Point PD/FD,

And Ocean Springs PD/FD all has talk groups but do not actively use them. Gautier PD/FD are the only other agency using the

System exclusively. Pascagoula Fire as well as Acadian Ambulance is “patched” from their primary channel onto the talk group

Assigned to them. So you’ll be able to hear them just as if you were listening on their primary VHF channel.

When programming your scanner for this system you can either choose to track with “control channel only.” The control channel

Alternates between 858.7375 or 859.7375 daily. So if you hear a control channel on either of these frequencies then you’ve found

Jackson County TRS. Just setup your scanner to track the control channel only and you’ll be up and running. Or you can go ahead

And enter every frequency listed below into your scanner using MOT TYPE II trunked channels. All talk groups listed below are accurate.
